The Joie Roomie Glide crib is an ideal bedside crib that allows parents to stay with their baby while ensuring they are resting safely. Its smooth gliding motion is able to ease your baby back into sleep and its innovative features allow you to keep an eye on them without having to leave your bed.
The side panel that slides out of the cot can be lifted and lowered with just a pressing of a button. This makes it simple to reach inside and soothe a baby at night. It also has 11 height adjustments that let it fit the mattress of almost any size bed. It also has adjustable folding feet to ensure that it is at the right height.
In terms of safety the cot is cushioned and comes with mesh sides for increased airflow, and the mattress is made of high-density foam for additional protection. It's also wipeable so you can keep it clean, and it is fitted with a sheet that's suitable for the cot.

However, she did point out that it's not an ideal idea to rock a smaller baby because it can set the stage for bad habits that will affect later sleep patterns.
The Tutti Bambini CoZee
The Tutti Bambini CoZee is an award-winning crib for bed designed with a safe night's sleep in mind. It has an adjustable side rail that can be easily adjusted to feed your child during the night without disturbing them or forcing them out of the bed. This is perfect for breastfeeding mothers! It's also light and easy to move around during naps or when traveling.
We love that it's constructed of soft fabrics with mesh sides that are breathable, which promote airflow and ease of use. It is available in charcoal or oak and a range of melange fabrics that can be incorporated with most decor styles. Anna found it to be solid and secure when it was attached to her bed. The legs slid into place and the zippers were secure to ensure security. It took Anna about 10 minutes to put it together and did not require any tools. There are clear instructions along with a video and customer support number if you experience any issues.
In addition to the standard features you'd expect from a crib for your bed such as the ability to attach to your bed using a stay-in place connection system and six levels of height, the CoZee has an additional incline option that can be used to help alleviate reflux or congestion in infants. It's also machine-washable, a must for all the dribbles, vomit and snot that come with having a newborn!
The CoZee is a great option for keeping your child close during the first six months of learning to fall asleep independently. It can be used as a cot, changing station and toddler bed. With the addition of a sofa bed extension pack, it could be transformed into a cot. While it won't be able to magically make your baby sleep or feed them, it can rock them and send them off.
The Chicco Next2Me Magic
This is one of Chicco's more expensive options, however it comes with a lot of features. It's designed to function as a side sleeper or a standalone crib, and is suitable for babies up to six months. It has a new mechanism for opening and closing the side panel, and is easy to use even with one hand. It's also more adjustable than the previous model, with 11 different height settings and legs that retract to installation underneath any bed.
Our testers loved the ease of access provided by the side panel, which can be moved upwards and downwards with just a single push of a switch. This was particularly helpful in the evening when feeding time was over, since they could reach in and pick up their baby without disturbing them up.
It is possible to lower the side panel by itself, but this isn't recommended, as it increases the risk that your child could get out of the cot. The patented safety locking system ensures that the side panel will only remain in place if it's properly attached to the parent's mattress. This is a wonderful feature to have in place for peace of mind, especially in the case of breastfeeding and frequent night feeds.
The Chicco Next2Me Magic is designed to be a perfect fit for any bed, including divan bases and beds with drawers thanks to the telescopic legs. It has a tilting feature for babies with reflux, as well as a rocking function to help calm them after a feeding. It is also very large and offers excellent ventilation thanks to its mesh sides.
Our test subjects found the Next2Me Magic easy to set up and use, however it does come with lengthy instructions. It's a crib for co-sleeping that can be attached securely to your bed and can be converted into a stylish cot when your baby is old enough. Ideal for feeding at night and strengthening the bond between you and your newborn.
Unlike some other cribs for bed, the Shnuggle Air is built with breathability in mind. Its dual-view mesh side panels and breathable, hypo-allergenic airflow mattress maximise airflow to keep your baby cool and comfortable. A gentle incline option helps to ease reflux and colic while the zip down side allows you to feed or soothe your baby at night.
The kit for converting cots is also well-designed, with clear instructions. It includes everything you need. It took us around an hour to assemble and was fairly simple to put together. The only issue with the instructions was that certain images did not have captions. This made it difficult to follow. However, it was an easy procedure and the quality of the materials used was excellent.
The Shnuggle Air is a great choice for mothers who are breastfeeding or have had a c-section.
